July 2026 Update: One Vision Taking Shape.

Six Months of Progress at the Kalamazoo Event Center

Over the past six months, the Kalamazoo Event Center has undergone an incredible transformation. From January to July, the site has evolved dramatically as work continues across nearly every area of the building, bringing the vision one step closer to reality.

Recent progress includes completing the exterior framing for the practice ice rink, installing the arena's seating foundation, and beginning interior painting in the main arena. Crews also continue to make steady progress on the building's exterior, including glass installation, metal wall panels, roofing, and the main ice plant system.
